Euregio Profile Schools

A label for schools committed to the Euregio

The “Euregio Profile School” label recognises schools in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine that give their teaching a Euregional dimension. Cross-border activities, cultural exchanges and the teaching of the neighbouring languages (German, French and Dutch) play an important role there, with particular attention paid to culture and to encounters with the neighbouring countries and regions.

Euregio Profile Schools set their priorities as follows:

  • Integrating content about the neighbouring regions into teaching

  • Cross-border school exchanges in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine

  • Encounters with the neighbouring languages.

Motivation

The EMR Education HUB is committed to closer cooperation between schools in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine and therefore aims to expand the network of Euregio Profile Schools.

The focus is on raising awareness of our unique region among schools and pupils.

Interested?

Would you like your school to become a Euregio Profile School?

Or is your school already a Euregio Profile School and would you like to renew the label?

We look forward to welcoming new schools from all sub-regions of the Euregio Meuse-Rhine that wish to obtain this label!

We will gladly help you to complete the application and make the necessary preparations! A trinational certification committee decides on the applications.
