Teach³ is an initiative to promote cross-border cooperation in education in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine. The project brings together schools, educational institutions and partner organisations from Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands to develop new forms of cooperation in the field of education.
In addition to cooperation in the education of children and young people, already promoted by Connect’ED (and EMRLingua), the Teach³ project focuses on cooperation in higher education and makes a targeted contribution to tackling the shortage of qualified teachers.
The aim of Teach³ is to offer pupils and teachers more opportunities for cross-border learning and exchange, while strengthening cooperation between the education systems of the three countries.
The project is supported by the European Erasmus+ programme.
Cooperation in the field of education
In a border region like the Euregio Meuse-Rhine, different languages, cultures and education systems exist side by side. Teach³ makes use of this diversity to promote cross-border learning opportunities and cooperation between schools.
This approach focuses in particular on:
-
Exchanges and cooperation between schools in the Euregio
-
Developing joint educational projects and learning formats
-
Promoting multilingualism and intercultural learning
-
Supporting teachers in cross-border cooperation.
Relationship with the Euregio Meuse-Rhine
Teach³ is part of Euregional cooperation in the field of education and youth. The project supports educational cooperation within the Euregio Meuse-Rhine and helps to build networks between schools and educational institutions in the border region.
This cooperation opens up new prospects for learning together across borders.
Education for an interconnected border region
Teach³ further strengthens cooperation between schools in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine. The project helps to prepare young people to live and work in a cross-border European region.
Teach³ thus makes an important contribution to developing the Euregio Meuse-Rhine as a place of encounter, learning and European cooperation.
